Italian Cast Stone was started by Lino Conto over 50 years ago. He arrived on the ship
"Conte Biancamno" in Halifax, Canada, September, 1951.

 

 

 

He brought with him in addition to his material belongings a strong work ethic, original designs and old world craftsmanship.
These qualities have been passed on for generations through apprenticeship in the old world of stonework.
 
 

Now working with his son and step-grandson the family business is still going strong. These 3 generations combined bring over 70 years experience to every job done. The family takes great pride in its work and consistently delivers a high quality of product in a timely and cost effective manner.
